MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide encoded by the mitochondrial genome. It plays key roles in metabolic regulation, mitochondrial function, oxidative-stress balance, and inflammatory modulation. MOTS-c levels tend to decrease with age. Documented themes include healthy metabolism and energy homeostasis, mitochondrial biogenesis and cellular energy production, reduced oxidative stress, inflammatory modulation, and muscle-health / physical-resilience models. It is not a hormone and does not act on the GH/IGF-1 axis. Carton photography lists 10 mg/vial, 99% purity, CAS 1627580-64-6, 1–2 mg/day, and a 0.5 hour half-life. Presented for laboratory research documentation only. Not for human consumption.
Store at 2–8°C (refrigerator) per the product photography. Protect from direct sunlight and freezing. Restricted laboratory access — keep out of reach of children and unauthorized users.
